Get to know the Role:
Support the GrabFood City GM and lead the Strategy and Planning team in formulating strategy and key initiatives for GrabFood & GrabMart to grow in Yogyakarta. You will dive deep to understand the merchant, driver partners and consumer sides of the business and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization. We believe a successful candidate has an upper hand in data analytics skills, experience in a business facing role and able to translate data into actionable insights,, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because we are looking for a go-to person who can tie data with implementation on ground. In return, you will get an opportunity to work with and mentored by our brilliant people at GrabFood, as well as unlocking a steep learning curve into the food delivery business in Yogyakarta.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
Strategizes & lead initiatives to drive business performance both in GrabFood & GrabMart, in line with city top line and bottom line targets while optimizing city budget (P&L)
Monitor and drive improvements in the city performance, understanding local city dynamics by area and time, to improve growth, merchant content, reliability and overall marketplace efficiency
Ensure seamless fulfillment experience for customers
Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process
Work closely with all business stakeholders within GrabFood, transport and other cross-functions to set and implement strategy
Manage end-to-end data projects; identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market
Conduct industry analysis and research with respect to competitive market trends to drive business insights
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
At least 3-4 years of experience working in working in Management Consulting / Business Intelligence / Market Research / investment banking / E-commerce/ Start-ups
Advanced in written and spoken English
Intellectually curious, highly analytical and able to problem solve, think & debate strategically
Experience in a quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses results to a wide range of audiences and translate these into actionable business insight
Proficiency in database querying and using tools like (SQL), BI tools (Tableau) etc.
Strong people and stakeholder management experience
High level of adaptability in working in a high pressure working environment
Dependable and reliable with timely follow-up , r esults-oriented, impact-focused and can thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment
Adept at managing complex processes and navigating through ambiguous and quick turn-around situations
Willing to be hands on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities and ownership
Willing to travel frequently / location in Yogyakarta is a plus point.
