Steamist, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual with a strong technical aptitude to join our Customer Solutions Product Support team. You’ll be responsible for researching and responding to product Technical inquiries, typically from our trade customers, and manufacturers’ agencies that distribute Steamist and Delta Faucet products. You will provide a high level of service via communicating by multiple channels including (and not limited to) phone, email, live chat, and in-person. The Product Analyst will help with additional support training for Customer Solutions, Contact Centers, and Rep Agencies as needed. You will communicate regularly with these groups by acting as Tier 2 Technical Support for escalated product-related questions. You’ll also help spearhead new product launches and will be provided with all the tools necessary to expand your working knowledge of our products. Responsibilities:

  • This is not an IT position
  • Respond to telephone calls and emails that require research in the areas of:
  • Product support, both general and technical
  • Coordinate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales Managers to help resolve more complex customer product technical concerns
  • Provide Tier 2 Technical Support to all business partners
  • Monitor all communication channels to ensure proper follow up is done to resolve inquiries promptly
  • Ability to ask qualifying questions to identify customer needs
  • Fully answer, and anticipate, the needs of our customers to prevent repeat communications
  • Address customer dissatisfaction with care, perseverance, and concern
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and make business decisions with little supervision
  • Strong desire to learn about past, present, and future products
  • Attend cross-functional meetings as needed to support company initiatives
  • Perform quality control audits on phone calls/email, and provide feedback to appropriate channels
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by Leadership

Education & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, full product training will be provided
  • Prior experience working with electro-mechanical and plumbing products recommended
  • Systems proficiency (MS Office)
