Job description

Event Dojo is a boutique, one-stop-shop event service provider. Event Ninjas/Planners perform with vigilance, foresight and sensitivity of our clients’ event needs.

From conception to execution, the Event Ninja/Planner

  • Practices event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time and budget limits
  • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
  • Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest

Qualifications

  • At least six years of proven experience as an events planner or organizer
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Google Suite and MS Office proficiency
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management or related field, preferred
  • Valid travel documents in the form of REAL-ID-compliant driver's license and US Passport

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Events management: 6 years (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 4 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)
  • Spanish (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Required)
