Sharp & Company is looking for a part time Digital Media Manager. Do you enjoy working on a team to develop innovative and effective digital communications strategies? If that sounds interesting, this is the perfect job for you! This position will allow you to work on a regionally significant infrastructure project in Washington DC, connecting with various stakeholders while enhancing your communications, marketing, and advertising expertise.

Worksite location – All positions are remote as we went virtual as of 2016.


This position will primarily do the following:

  • Plans, organizes, and executes marketing and social media campaigns with the senior project manager
  • Manages social media campaigns and day-to-day activities including website strategies and maintenance, content updates, data management, development of web graphics, multimedia, and email marketing.
  • Analyzes the performance of social marketing programs by reviewing campaign results and gathers insights from those results to optimize interactions with consumers.
  • Writes and edits emails, social media, ad copy, and print pieces.
  • Monitors trends, news stories, etc. to ensure content is relevant and timely.
  • Turns social media conversation opportunities into success stories, and engage proactively with mentions, interactions, and influencers.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings (via Zoom)

Required Skills

  • College degree
  • 3-5 years of communication/marketing experience required
  • Experience using Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing plans
  • Experience organizing and executing marketing plans
  • Excellent writing skills

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the public information process at transportation or government agencies
