Job description

Job purpose

  • Bossible is a women-owned and operated branding, marketing and business development consultancy looking to grow its diverse team with a Social Media Specialist. Among other areas, you will be responsible for simultaneously administering social media accounts for multiple different brands and provide overall social media marketing roadmaps, attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users, join relevant conversations and “soft selling” by providing support to current and prospective customers. You should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.


  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency, manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications


  • Demonstrated experience in B2B social media marketing required
  • Experience using Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok for businesses required
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

This position requires the ability to analyze many variables and choose the most effective course of action at any given point in time. You must be able to handle multiple tasks and diverse work problems on a daily basis. You must be able to handle stressful situations and interact with various personalities at all levels in the Company, while also prioritizing your work load.
